Innovation awards of KIT given to winners
The award ceremony usually takes place in front of an audience during NEULAND Innovation Day, which had to be cancelled in summer 2020 due to the corona pandemic. Professor Dr. Thomas Hirth, Vice President for Innovation and International Affairs and Dr. Jens Fahrenberg, Head of Innovation and Relations Management, have now presented the certificates and awards to the nominees under exclusion of the public.
The team technology transfer of KIT congratulates the winners of the two categories idea award and transfer award. In a selection process led by company representatives, the three winners prevailed against 29 and 5 competitors.

Here the multi-sensorial person localization offers an optimal and cost-effective solution. Congratulations on the 3rd place!"
Thanks to the sponsors and jury
The winners of the contest could not only enjoy awards and certificates, but also cash prizes provided by the sponsors. Afterwards, the winners of the innovation contest will intensively be supported by the innovation managers of KIT in order to develop the outstanding ideas into strong innovations.
Due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic, the high-ranking sponsors and jury members from industry and research could unfortunately not attend the award ceremony in person. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. We sincerely hope that we will be able to celebrate the next award ceremony on a larger scale again in a personal meeting with all those involved in the NEULAND Innovation Contest.
