The online technology platform RESEARCH TO BUSINESS of KIT celebrates its 10th anniversary. Inventions and know-how from KIT are clearly presented on the platform. "The platform is a marketplace for innovations and a door opener between science and industry," says Dr. Jens Fahrenberg, Head of Innovation and Relations Management at KIT. In this way, research results can make the transition to application.

The scientific institutes at KIT possess enormous innovative power from which industrial companies can benefit: First and foremost, the opportunity to always play a leading role thanks to the latest technologies. But also "problem solvers" for different industries can be found on the platform. Currently, more than 160 technology offers are listed, for which KIT is specifically looking for development partners.

The usability of the online platform will continue to be the focus of attention in the future. In addition to technical optimizations, interested parties can also look forward to the technology alert in the future: an e-mail alert that provides subscribers with the latest technology offers directly after publication for individually selectable branches.
