KIT Business Club welcomes VEGA Grieshaber as new member
On November 1, 2025, the KIT-Business-Club, consisting of over 30 companies from various technology sectors, will welcome VEGA Grieshaber KG as a new member of its transfer-oriented network. Based in Schiltach in the Black Forest, VEGA Grieshaber has been developing innovative measurement technology solutions for the process industry since 1959 and employs over 2,600 people worldwide. The combination of technological innovation and industrial expertise is central to VEGA – as is the development of long-term partnerships. "Even more intensive cooperation with KIT within the framework of the KIT Business Club opens up new perspectives for us and strengthens our innovative power through exchange with excellent scientific partners. Our innovation strategy focuses specifically on cooperation with leading research institutions. This enables us not only to accompany new technologies at an early stage, but also to actively shape them and transform them into marketable solutions," says Jürgen Motzer, Head of Research & Development at VEGA.
With VEGA Grieshaber, the KIT Business Club is expanding to include another company that specifically exploits the potential of joint innovation work. “Especially in times of technological upheaval, the close interlinking of science and industry is a decisive factor for success,” emphasizes Dr. Markus Bauer, head of the KIT Business Club. Since its foundation in 2009, the corporate network has offered an established platform for this: On the one hand, it facilitates access to the latest developments and exciting technologies, and on the other hand, the KIT Business Club promotes dialogue between member companies. A key factor here is a personal contact person at KIT who provides each member company with individual support in tapping into potential and answering all questions relating to KIT.
